Celebrating National Women’s History Month!!

Mae Schunk is a dedicated educator and public servant who has spent her life advocating for children and education. With a deep passion for teaching, she devoted her career to shaping young minds before stepping into the political arena. Schunk served as the Lieutenant Governor of Minnesota from 1999 to 2003 alongside Governor Jesse Ventura, becoming the first educator to hold the position in the state. Beyond her public service, she is a devoted wife and mother, committed to family and community. Her legacy reflects a lifelong commitment to education, leadership, and service.
