I don’t have a favorite meals. If you look at me, you can clearly see that every meal is my favorite.
I have been in the culinary field since 1982. I have worked at traditional restaurants, country clubs and dinner clubs. I worked in Eggersdorf, Austria for my apprenticeship program.
When I go grocery shopping, I don’t go with certain meals in mind. I buy fruits and vegetables, meats and grains, spices and herbs. So when it comes to cooking I pick items that sound good at the time.
Dogs, dogs and more dogs. I have had a variety of pups throughout my existence. Currently, I don’t have a dog of my own, but I have been dog-sitting my sons dog Miley.
My favorite movie is Shawshank Redemption. At the end of the movie the main actors meet in Zihuantanejo Mexico. It inspired me so much I spent some of my honeymoon in Zihuantanejo.
I have many favorite books, but my favorite author is Ernest Hemmingway.
My favorite sports team is the Colorado Avalanche hockey team.
My favorite bands are Chuck Lemonds (my older brother who is a professional musician) and Jimmy Buffet.
I would go to Spain. I am a lover of appetizers and Spain has entire menus based on Tapas which are “small plate” appetizers.
